Blake has undoubtedly taken control of his number one position five-eighth and is very at home in Canberra under coach Ricky Stuart. He is a senior leader within the team ranks and takes this role seriously.
In serious contention to progress further in his representative career, he is completely focused on achieving his goals and representing NSW in State of Origin.
Off the field, Austin is just as impressive. He is warm and personable with fans of all ages and regularly helps out at junior league visits and community initiatives. He is a great role model for the younger players despite being just 24 years of age, and a brilliant ambassador for the club and the game as a whole.
In the 2017 NRL season, Blake recorded 7 tries, 8 try assists, 8 line-break assists, 18 offloads and 24 appearances. He is aiming for a significant year in 2018.
